Calmbirth® Group Course
Calmbirth® is a 12 hour evidence based childbirth education program, which recognises the mind/body connection and it's relevance in birth. A woman's emotional state has profound implications of how her body responds during labour and birth.
The aim of the Calmbirth® program is to reduce fears, stressors and anxieties commonly held around birth, and replace these with knowledge, to empower couples to birth their babies calmly and confidently.
The Calmbirth® program has been shown to:
-
Increase confidence in birth.
-
Decrease use of pharmacological pain relief.
-
Decrease rates of caesarean section.
-
Increase rates of normal vaginal birth.
